About Coach Jake Marlin:
Jake Marlin started training at HAWC the first year our club opened up in 2005. He was a 5th grader and would come train 2-3 nights a week. He continued to train with HAWC throughout his high school career where he became a 4 x Iowa High School State Champion!
Jake has also helped as a counselor/clinician with numerous High Altitude Wrestling Summer Camps at Springbrook State Park. I am very excited to have Jake helping out with High Altitude Wrestling. Jake knows our system and knows how I want everything taught and drilled.
When Jake approached me about wanting to run a High Altitude Wrestling site I knew it would be great for athletes in the area. He has a tremendous amount of talent and knowledge in the sport of wrestling. When a wrestler goes to a practice run by Jake (who spent over 8 years training in our system) they will be getting the same high quality HAWC instruction they deserve and are expecting!
