15th Annual Winter Break Training Camps:   **NEW LOCATION**

High Altitude Wrestling Club has been having Winter Break Training Camps since 2005! This winter will be our 15th Annual Winter Break Training Camps. These camps are a great way to work on fixing any errors, learning new technique, and getting a jump start for the second half of the wrestling season!

This year I will be having four camps: Takedown Training Camp, Escapes/Reversals Training Camp, Tilts/Turns Training Camp and spend the night “Champ” Camp at Wesley Woods (Indianola, IA). All camps will feature technique, drilling and live wrestling over moves taught!

2019 Iowa HS State Tournament Results: 39 State Qualifiers, 21 State Medalists, 9 State Finalists & 2 State Champions!
2019 Youth Wrestling Results: 44 State Medalists, 17 State Finalists & 8 State Champions!


2019 Winter Break Training Camp Dates:

  • Dec 26th: Takedown Training Camp:
    Session 1: 9:00am – Noon
    Session 2: 1:30-430pm
  • Dec. 27th: Escapes & Reversals Camp:
    Session 1: 9:00am – Noon
    Session 2: 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Dec. 28th: Tilts & Turns Camp:
    Session 1: 9:00am – Noon
    Session 2: 1:30-4:30pm
  • Dec. 31st – Jan 1st: “CHAMP” Camp at Wesley Woods Camp & Retreat Center (spend the night camp!)

  • Locations:
    Dec 26-28 Camps:  Timberline School Wrestling Room, 2605 SE LA Grant Pkwy, Waukee, IA 50263   **NEW LOCATION**
    Dec 31st – Jan 1st Camp: Wesley Woods Camp & Retreat Center, 10896 Nixon St, Indianola, IA 50125
  • Cost:  $45 per camp for Dec. 26-28 Camps, $150 for Dec 31st “CHAMP” Camp at Wesley Woods!
  • Register:  Pre-Register online or mail in form with payment!    (Checks payable to: High Altitude Wrestling)
  • Grades:  K-12th  (Limited to 44 wrestlers per camp!)    (CHAMP Camp at Wesley Woods is for 2nd-12th grade – under 2nd needs approval)!
  • Schedule For Camps:  Dec 26-28 Camps:  There are 2 sessions per day (you pick one) 9am-Noon or 1:30-4:30.        Dec 31st:  Spend the night  (see info above)
  • Outline:  Technique, drilling, LIVE (situations & wrestling)
  • Cancellation/Refund Policy:  All refunds for camps will be issued in the form of a camp credit towards future HAWC camps.  This camp credit is good for 1 year!  There are NO refunds or camp credit for wrestlers leaving camps early!
